All of this plus you are just a short distance from Walt Disney World and within minutes of Orlando Florida's other major attractions. Brand New for 2006 is River Island, a huge water-themed area that has water falls, a lazy river where you can float away the day, 2 beach-style wade in pools, 2 spas and 2 walk-up pool bars where you can grab a cold drink or a lite snack. At the entrance to River Island is the River Island Exchange, a 30,000 sq. ft. clubhouse that contains a restaurant, store, fitness and arcade centers and more. Finally, you can rent your own private cabana that will seat four. The cabana includes a TV, house phone, floats and a newspaper. This makes it one of the finest vacation resorts in Kissimmee, Florida! There is a lot of diversity when it comes to the Orange Lake golf courses which allows you to select the type of course that best suits your playing style and skill level. If your one of those that isn't interested in golf, there is also an 80-acre lake that is host to an abundance of water sports, including boating, fishing and jet skiing. Other water options available are the four outdoor pools including a children's pool and playground. Other entertainment on-site includes a video arcade, movie theater and a full time activities department to who will find all kinds of things to keep the kids busy. Orange Lake Resort also thought of your stomach because there are 7 restaurants on property that offer up a variety of menus from pizza to a casual pool and lakeside menu.
