The total distance is 235 km and approximately a three to four hour drive. There are restaurants and gas stations along the way. You will be driving northwest on the Pan-American highway, the same road to Liberia. There are many signs to Liberia. Stay on the main road.

Ocotal Beach Resort is located four hours from the Juan Santamaria International Airport. From the airport, a five minute drive will take you to Playa Del Coco, a small fishing and tourist village where you can find supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, restaurants, stores, bars and night life.
