The Maldives is a collection of atolls and beautiful sun-kissed islands in the Indian Ocean, south of Sri Lanka. The jewel of the North Atoll, Vabbinfau, the island where Banyan Tree Maldives is located, is only 25 minutes by speedboat from the airport and the capital of Maldives, Male. Speedboat transfers can be arranged by the hotel. Return speedboat transfer between the airport and hotel is charged at USD 100 nett per person.

Male International Airport -MLE- is 11 kilometres south.
