Better known as "The Rock". Sean Connery and Nicholas Cage spent time here, but were able to leave when filming was finished. See where the movies were made and where the real gangsters stayed. Tours daily, taken out to the Island by boat. Cassette tapes (in most languages) are available to walk you through the prison grounds and are very informative. Make sure you don't miss the boat back though. There are no restaurants on the island and the kitchen hasn't been used in decades.

San Francisco

From the Historical Clock Tower, to the famous Coit Tower and down the most crooked street in the world-Lombard Street, there is something for everyone. Continue a short distance north of Sausalito and you'll encounter some of the largest trees in the country at Muirwoods. Nature at it's best.
