Public transport costs DM 3,90 (Euro 1,99)- take bus line 128 to Kurt-Schumacher-Damm, change to U-Bahn (subway) to "Alt-Tegel", take exit to the front of the train and staircase to Humboldt-Bibliothek", walk straight on and the Humboldt-Muehle red brick complex becomes visible across the water.

From the airport, a taxi will cost you about DM 80 (Euro 40,90),as the airport is located aight across the city. Rather take public transport which costs DM 3,90 (Euro 1,99). Bus line 171 outside the airport takes you to the S-Bahn (rapid transit trains). Take lane S9 to "Friedrichstrasse". Switch to the U-Bahn (underground) line U6 to "Alt-Tegel". Take exit to the front of the train and staircase to "Humboldt-Bibliothek", walk straight on and the Humboldt-Muhle red brick complex becomes visible across the water.
