| Located in the western North Carolina mountains, sitting astride the Eastern Continental Divide, at a cool 4,000 feet elevation is the quaint and historic town of Blowing Rock. Nestled in the mountains, Blowing Rock is a popular tourist Mecca for year round leisure and business guests. With its temperate climate, rarely above 79 degrees in the summer, and its winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, or taking home the perfect Christmas tree, Blowing Rock has attracted seasonal visitors, summer residents, and tourists, since the early 1800s. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway and located on historic Main Street, in downtown Blowing Rock, sits the unique and beautiful Meadowbrook Inn. Our own brook, waterfall, and duck ponds set the stage for a relaxing and adventure filled stay for the whole family. Many guests make us their home away from home in the mountains. We attract business guests for retreats and conferences, and are famous for our wedding and celebration receptions and banquets, where specialized service and planning are so very important. |

Asheville Regional Airport Head south on Fanning Bridge Rd and State Rd 3539 toward State Rd 3526. Turn left at New Airport Rd and State Rd 3526. Turn left to merge onto I-26 W and US-74 W toward Asheville. Take exit 31A to merge onto I-40 E toward Hickory. Take exit 72 to merge o Charlotte Follow I-85 South to Gastonia, NC. Travel North on Hwy 321 through Hickory and Lenoir. Hwy 321 will take you into the town of Blowing Rock. At the second street light in Blowing Rock, turn left onto Main Street. Follow Main Street a fourth of a mile to t Raleigh Follow I-40 West to Winston Salem, NC, to Hwy 421 North. Follow Hwy 421 North to the town of Boone, NC. Turn left onto Hwy 105 and Hwy 321. Turn left onto Hwy 321 South. Go approximately 8 miles to Blowing Rock. Turn right at street following signs for H Greensboro Follow I-40 West to Winston Salem, NC, to Hwy 421 North. Follow Hwy 421 North to the town of Boone, NC. Turn left onto Hwy 105 and Hwy 321. Turn left onto Hwy 321 South. Go approximately 8 miles to Blowing Rock. Turn right at street following signs for H Blowing Rock - Grandfather Mountain Turn RIGHT out of Meadowbrook Inn parking lot onto Main St. Turn LEFT at stoplight onto Hwy 321 towards Boone, follow 6-8 miles. Turn LEFT onto NC – 105 S (Wendy’s will be on your left), follow about 19 miles. Turn LEFT onto Hwy 221 N at the BIG Grand Tweetsie Railroad Turn RIGHT out of Meadowbrook Inn parking lot onto Main St. Turn LEFT at stoplight onto Hwy 321 towards Boone & follow about 4-5 miles. Tweetsie will be on your left. Appalachian Ski Mountain Turn Right out of Meadowbrook Inn parking lot (Main Street). Turn Left at stoplight onto 321 towards Boone. Follow for about 2 miles. Turn Left at the second stoplight onto Edmisten Rd. You will see a billboard pointing you onto Edmisten Road. Follow Mystery Hill Turn RIGHT out of Meadowbrook Inn parking lot onto Main St. Turn LEFT at stoplight onto Hwy 321 towards Boone Follow about 4 miles, Mystery Hill is on left. Linville Caverns Turn RIGHT out of Meadowbrook Inn parking lot onto Main St. Turn LEFT at stoplight onto Hwy 321 towards Boone, follow 6-8 miles. Turn LEFT onto NC -105 S (a Wendy’s will be on your left). NC – 105 will turn into Hwy 221. Follow Hwy 221 S for 14 miles Linville Falls Turn RIGHT out of Meadowbrook Inn parking lot onto Main St. Turn LEFT at stoplight onto Hwy 321 towards Boone, follow 6-8 miles. Turn LEFT onto NC -105 S (a Wendy’s will be on your left). NC – 105 will turn into Hwy 221.
