Originally built in 1886 as a private residence, the building was completely renovated and converted into a 40 room stylish, modern boutique hotel, the Charlesmark. Co-owners Mark Hagopian and Charles Hajjar managed all aspects of the development. Classic modernism with a minimalist flair accented with the latest high technology amenities, European-style boutique hotel within a historical Bostonian façade. All 40 guestrooms of the Charlesmark are uniquely styled by renowned designer Dennis Duffy to provide the ultimate combination of luxury, comfort, and functionality. From custom-made furniture and light-toned woodwork to imported Italian tile and elegant European lighting fixtures, each room presents a soft modern motif with a residential feel. The Charlesmark Lounge located 1st floor of the 6 story hotel is a low-key martini bar that offers Thai cuisine open 5 pm daily.
