Rumbling Bald Resort is a 3,660 acre mountain golf community stretching from the shores of scenic Lake Lure to the slopes of majestic Bald Mountain. The Resort offers a unique combination of lakefront activities plus mountain vistas and year round golf. An ideal setting for retreats and weddings. Please note the resort does not allow pets, smoking or motorcycles on the property. There is a 10.00 USD resort fee applied to all units per day. Check-in at the front desk. Check-in time is 4PM. Check-out time is 10AM. Please note that this is not a guaranteed time, due to potential for housekeeping or maintenance delays. Except in unusual circumstances, the unit is ready by the 4PM check-in time. Late arrivals please check-in at the 24 hour security gate at the resort entrance next to the front desk. An arrival package with keys, resort guide, maps etc. will be waiting any time the front desk is closed. Lake Lure is nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains, surrounded by rugged mountains towering over the lake many claim to be one of the most scenic in the country. Nearby Chimney Rock has shops and a rocky overlook with views for miles. Biltmore Estate in Asheville is about 30 miles away.
