Take the S-Bahn line S41 to the station Frankfurter Allee. After 7 min. footpath in direction city centre you will reach our hotel.

By car reach us via Mittelstrasse on motor-way A113 in direction city centre. Take the exit Grenzallee. Follow that road, which is later Dammweg, up to the crossroad Koepenicker Landstrasse. Turn left and follow the B96a all time with different street names until you reach the crossroad Warschauer Strasse-Frankfurter Allee. Turn right into Frankfurter Allee. At the traffic light crossing after approx. 900m turn on the left into Voigtstrasse. There is our main entrance and the garage entrance.

Drive on motor-way A 111. You will automatically get to A100. Use the exit Grenzallee. Follow that road, which is later Dammweg, up to crossroad Koepenicker Landstrasse. Follow the course of the road B96a, which has different street names, until you reach the crossroad Warschauer Strasse-Frankfurter Allee. Turn right into the Frankfurter Allee and go straight ahead for approx. 1 km until Voigtstrasse on the left side. There is our main entrance and garage entrance.

Our modern city hotel is located on the Frankfurter Allee close to Alexanderplatz in the district Friedrichshain and opposite the underground station Samariterstrasse.

Alexanderplatz

Alexanderplatz, or "Alex" for short, is still a centre of Berlin. Alexanderplatz was named after the Russian Czar Alexander I., who visited Berlin in 1805. At the time, it was a market and parade ground before the gates of Berlin.

Aquarium

Right next to the zoo entrance, the Aquarium boasts many freshwater and salt water animals as well as crocodiles, insects and spiders.

ICC Berlin

ICC is a part of Berlins trade fair grounds. The modern machinelike Kongresshalle was opened in 1979. It largest hall can seat 5000 persons. The building is 320 metres long, 80 metres wide and 40 metres high and is connected to the exhibition hall.

Schloss Charlottenburg

Schloss Charlottenburg itself was the summer residence of the Prussian kings. Together with the guard barracks opposite it is one of the museum centres in West Berlin.

Staatsoper Berlin

Who experiences an opera evening, comes not only to the pleasure of a performance of the traditionally excellently occupied ensemble, but has at the same time the opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful opera houses of the world.

Philharmonie

The building housed the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra with its chief conductor Herbert von Karajan, and thus became known as Karajans circus. It was built from 1960-63. The Kammermusiksaal was not opened unti the ???80s.

Theater des Westens

The Theater des Westens in Kantstrasse opened in 1896 to stage mainly light entertainment. It is still one of the leading theatres for musicals in Germany.

Museumsinsel

One of the most superb museum complexes in all of Europe lies on the north point of the Spree island in the center of the city. Here you can visit Bode Museum, Old National Galery, Pergamonmuseum, Altes Museum.

Potsdamer Platz Arkaden

The new Potsdamer Platz Arkaden is the largest shopping centre around the Potsdamer Platz.

KADEWE

Berlin would be unimaginable without the Departament Store of the West (Kaufhaus des Westens). The largest department store on the European continent is more than a well-stocked shopping paradise: KaDeWe is a legend.

Europa Center

The Europe Centra became a symbol of West Berlin because of the revolving Mercedes star on the roof it is also known as the i-Punkt (the dot on the i). The 22-storey tower block is the dominant urban design element in the West Berlin city centre.

Reichstag

It was erected between 1884 and 1894 in the Italien High Renaissance style. After reunification of th two German states resumed its sessions in its new convention hall after it was massively extended and redesigned. An imposing feature is the cupola.

Gedaechtniskirche

The ruins of the spire ot the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedachtniskirche were not restored and left as a memorial to the Second World War. The church was built from 1891-95 by Kaiser Wilhelm II. as a memorial to his grandfather.

Funkturm

The Funkturm, 150 metres high, is very popular among Berliners called the Langer Lulatsch (Beanpole). It was officially opened in 1926 at the Third Radio Exhibition.

Rotes Rathaus

The red town hall, so called because of the colour of the building material. During the GDR period the building was used by the government (Council of Ministers), and it is now again used by the Berlin Senate.

Siegessaule

In the centre of Grosser Stern is the Siegessaule, 67m high, which was erected in 1873 on the old K???nigsplatz as a memorial. At the feet of the 8m high Goddess of Victory, who the Berliners call Gold-Else, there is a magnificant panoramic view.

Tiergarten

Tiergarten used to be the Electors hunting grounds, stretching across both sides of the street. After the Second World War it supplied wood for the freezing people of Berlin.

East-Side-Gallery

The East-Side-Gallery is the longest monument for peace and reconciliation in Berlin. In 1990, after the division of Berlin had come to an end, countless artists from all over the world painted the dreary 1.3 kilometer long wall.

Schloss Bellevue

After the Second World War the Schloss Bellevue was restored by 1959 as the offical residence of the President of the Frederal Republic of Germany.

Kongresshalle

The Kongresshalle, nicknamed Schwangere Auster (Pregnant Oyster) because of its suspended ached roof, was a gift from the Americans. It was handed over at the International Building Exhibition.

Hauptbahnhof

The building of the new central railway station is the most spectacular architecture project in Berlin. In May, 2006, to the FIFA football world championship Germany in 2006, the biggest interchange station of Europe was finished.

Tierpark Berlin

Brandenburger Tor
