Directions

Leaving Shanon Airport- take the N 18 north to Ennis. Drive straight through Ennis until you reach the Maid of Erin roundabout on the north side of the town. Take the 1st exist which is for the N 85 - signposted for Ennistymon and Lahinch. 2 Miles out of town you will see a turning on your right hand side. Turn here for the R476 - signposted for Corofin, Lisdoonvarna and Ballyvaughan. Drive straight through the village of Corofin. 5 miles after you will come to Lemenagh Castle on your right. Turn right here for the R480 - sighnposted for the Ailwee Caves Ballyvaughan. After approx. 8 miles you will have come down into the Ballyvaughan valley. You will come to a stop at Newtown Cross where you will meet the N67. Turn left here for the hotel - signposted 2.5 miles. Do not turn right as it will take you into the Ballyvaughan village. After 2.5 miles you will see the hotel on your left. The entrance is marked by tall trees.

From Galway take the N 18 south towards Ennis/ Limerick. Go through the villages of Clarinbridge and Kilcolgan. After passing through Kilcolgan you will see a turn right for N67. Take this turn and pass through the villages of Ballindereen and Kinvara. When you come to Ballyvaughan, turn left at the T junction for Lisdoonvarna. The hotel is 3 1/4 miles on your left.
