Restaurant Information

Aroma

Main Restaurant of the hotel. With the "Dining in the kitchen" concept, the cafe provides Chinese, Japanese and European style specialties with entertainment from the open kitchen activities. The cafe is totally authentic in its individual cuisines. Show kitchen consists of seven main live stations: Chinese, Italian, Grill, Seafood Bar, Dessert, Japanese, and the Juice Bar.

Penthouse Bar

The Bar is elegant, comfortable, and stylish, located on the top two floors of the River Tower, enjoying spectacular views of the Bund and Pudong across the Huangpu River. An outdoor terrace and bar is located on the 33rd floor, providing a relaxed environment, with "day beds" and comfortable lounge seating arrangements designed for enjoying drinks and appreciating the views. A Jacuzzi on the terrace in summer is transformed to a roaring open replace in winter.

Xindalu - China Kitchen

The Chinese Restaurant is totally authentic in its cuisine, which is complimented with certain western elements. The restaurant specialized in Shanghainese appetizers, surrounding region delicacies and northern Chinese specialties all for sharing with entertainment from the restaurant. Four main sections each with specialized chefs: the Chinese Roast Duck Burning Oven, Shanxi Dumplin & Noodle Making section, Chop & Wok and Dessert section. Each meal period will have its own type of music and mood. The overall theme will be nostalgic music dating from the 30s and 40s - a mix of Chinese and western music from these periods.

Penthouse Restaurant

A "Classic European" restaurant designed to incorporate a private/homey feel similar to what would be found in a private residence. The restaurant will feature traditional western cuisine, focusing on authentic recipes and prepared with only the finest ingredients available. The art of table-side cooking, a signature of the restaurant, will stimulate and entertain the guests. Lunch service should be fast and efficient, focusing on the set menus offered. Dinner service will be classic, "humble" and distinguished. Restaurant will focus on live station cooking, interaction between clients, service staff and kitchen staff.

The Tea Room

A European Tea Salon style Lobby Lounge, featuring a retail section and a Tea Lounge area. It will sell specially blended teas from all over the world and serve specialty coffees, teas, cocktails, afternoon tea, desserts and light snacks during the day and in the evening. Live music in the afternoon and the busy evening hours.
